It’s that time once again to schedule regular Wikipedia revision sessions and start reading Trivia of the Day sites as Network’s Second Annual Quiz Night is upon us!Friday 19th September is the date for your diaries and the Pilgrim Pub the place for your, er, pilgrimage to pub quiz nirvana. Hosted o…nce again by Rob “Newton” Griffiths, your team will be only eight rounds away from glory and a cash prize, or near glory and a less impressive prize, or no glory at all but, let’s be honest, the warm glow of a lifetime of memories. There will also be a raffle in which, if it’s anything like last year, everyone but me will win something. So, if you know what the capital of Chad is, or who scored the first goal in the Premier League, or just how many beans make five, you’re out of luck, as none of those questions will be in the quiz. But if you know similar things, this is the place to be.

Doors open from 7:15pm, the quiz itself starts at 8pm. Entry will be £3/£2 concessions, and all are welcome, whether a Network veteran, virgin or just viewer. See you there!
